Rural Business Development Grant Scheme

This Grant is available to businesses based in a rural area of Northern Ireland and can be used for development of an e-commerce website

The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) has launched the Rural Business Development Grant Scheme 2022. The scheme aims to provide grant funding to help rural micro businesses to sustain, develop and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. This grant is administered and managed by local councils throughout Northern Ireland.  A mandatory pre-funding workshop must be attended prior to applying for the scheme.

The scheme will be delivered by local councils on behalf of DAERA. Application forms, guidance notes and further advice and information will be available from your local council.

The deadline for applications is Tuesday 31st May 2022

Your application and supporting documents must be submitted online (available from 4 May 2022.) and uploaded by 12noon on Tuesday 31st May 2022. 

The online system closes at this date and time and therefore no late applications will be accepted.  It is recommended that you register, complete and submit your application as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
