USPCA
The Ulster Society for the Prevention Cruelty to Animals (USPCA) is the second oldest Animal Welfare Charity in the world established in 1836. Their mission is ‘The prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering in animals and the advancement of animal welfare.’ The services which they offer include the Veterinary Clinic; which provides a full range of services to companion animals, Wildlife rescue where all Welfare Officers respond to hundreds of calls, bringing the injured animal for examination by a USPCA vet. They also have an animal re-homing service where the USPCA will ensure the animal finds a new caring owner.
Kyber Digital have been working closely with the USPCA team to create a new website to help the charity. There were a number of objectives for the website.
- Promote fundraising and build membership: we did this be providing information on fundraising events and adding online membership forms
- Provide easy access to report cruelty: there is prominent detailed information on regional phones numbers and emails
- Encourage volunteers: there is listing of volunteer jobs along with application forms
- Increase donations: we have built and integrated a secure facility for making ongoing donations
The website is also responsive which will help them engage with users on mobile devices. It also has detailed information on all their work and information on animal welfare.
Overall the new, fresh design of the updated website gives a clear outlook on to what the charity has to offer and what they can do to help and support suffering animals.
